Tetra Laval Group provides initial disaster relief support to Japan

The Tetra Laval Group Board will make a € 1 million donation to support immediate disaster relief efforts in Japan.

At this point in time it is difficult to get a comprehensive overview of the country’s needs so the Board hopes this initial support will help to address some of the more acute issues related to the supply of milk, water and food stuff to people affected by last week’s earthquake and subsequent tsunami.

As soon as it is able to better quantify what is required, the Tetra Laval Group is committed to increase its funding for disaster relief in accordance with the company’s business philosophy of taking a responsible and active part in the societies in which we operate.
